At Flat Three, our belief in a sustainable approach throughout 2020 is evident our dishes and drinks. Selecting ingredients found in abundance and utilising as much of the ingredient as possible supports our sustainability. Pronounced in our juices, this attitude allows us to capture optimum flavours at the right moment.
With Kew’s admirable mission of being at the forefront of accessible education in the importance of plants and fungi in our world, matched with our own ethos, it was clear that a unique collaboration had to follow.
We spent a summer afternoon at the London Distillery in Kew Gardens, sampling our juices to find which paired best with the Kew gin, followed by a convivial evening of canapes and drinks where we presented our new found gin+juice flavour combinations for the first time to guests.
We’re thrilled to have worked with the guys at Kew Gardens and can gladly say that our exclusive gin + juice pairings are here to stay on our drinks menu, changing with the seasons. From our fig leaf kombucha that went down a treat in the summertime, we’re moving into winter now with new pairings for you to indulge in, including our pear + licorice + kombu juice.
